The Sessions will contribute to Level 3 Adult Safeguarding according to Adult Safeguarding: Roles and Competencies for Health Care Staff / Publications / Royal College of Nursing

1.30pm-1.35pm Welcome and introduction by Fiona Mitchell, Nurse Consultant Adult Safeguarding Designate and Dr Alice Wu, Named GP Adult and Child Safeguarding Lewisham SEL ICB
1.35pm-2.05pm A General Update and Briefing on Areas of New and Updated Local Policy, Guidance and Legislation and Adult Safeguarding. A summary of relevant news and important information to help keep professionals well informed will be included.
2.05 – 3.05pm: Understanding and Responding to Domestic Abuse in Health Settings.
