About this Event

Health professionals are often the first point of contact for victim-survivors of domestic abuse—but do you know how to spot the signs, assess risk, and act safely? This training equips you with the knowledge and confidence to intervene early and save lives.

What You’ll Learn

• Understand the dynamics of domestic abuse and coercive control
• Recognize health-related indicators and patterns of risk
• Understand indicators of high risk of serious harm 
• Make safe, informed referrals and navigate local pathways
• Apply trauma-informed principles in your practice

This session is designed for professionals working within the Health Sector —GPs, nurses, midwives, mental health practitioners, Admin Staff —but is open to anyone working with vulnerable individuals in frontline or safeguarding roles.
