About this Event
We are pleased to announce the third Lewisham General Practice Excellence Awards (2025/26) will take place on Friday 23rd January 2026, 7pm till late and will once again be held in the iconic Rivoli Ballroom in Brockley.
These awards will recognise the outstanding work in Lewisham by staff working in general practice and will be an exciting opportunity to celebrate with colleagues, as well as showcase and award teams and individuals.
The evening will include a buffet and entertainment.
To ensure fairness, we have allocated a number of tickets to each PCN/organisation - please ensure you select your ticket under the PCN/Organisation you work for and then complete the booking form in full to include the name of your Practice/Organisation, PCN, your Role and any specific dietary requirements. We also kindly request that tickets are only booked if you intend to attend and please do cancel your booking if you are no longer able to make it so the ticket can be offered to others.

Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we are only able to invite staff working in general practice within Lewisham. As such, we are unable to extend invitations to partners, friends, or family members. We hope this does not deter you from booking your free ticket and joining us for an enjoyable evening with your colleagues and work friends. We look forward to celebrating together at the iconic Rivoli Ballroom!
Nominations for the Lewisham General Practice Excellence Awards 2025/26
The Award Categories open for staff nomination in 2025/26 are:
- GP Practice of the Year
- GP of the Year
- Practice Manager of the Year
- Practice Nurse of the Year
- Receptionist/Administrator of the Year
- Extended Practice Team Member of the Year (ARRS Roles)
- Innovation in Health Award (Project)
- System Collaboration Award (Project)
And new for 2025/26 we will be awarding an Inspiring Leader Award. This is for someone who has demonstrated exceptional leadership that motivates and empowers others to achieve their best. The award recognises not just results but how those results are achieved - through vision, empathy, integrity and the ability to inspire positive change.

We will also once again be running a People’s Choice Award, with nominations to be made directly by the public using the following link: People's Choice Award nomination or scanning the QR code on the poster opposite,
Nominations will be assessed based on impact, quality, improved patient experience and innovation.
The deadline for all nominations is Sunday 14th December 2025.
The judging panel for the awards is as follows;
