Lewisham CEPN Training Hub and SEL ICB, Lewisham invite you to attend Cancer Online training

One in two of us will be diagnosed as having cancer at some point in our lives.

Cancer is the leading cause of death in Lewisham, ahead of both cardiac and respiratory disease.

In Lewisham, the rates of early diagnosis of cancer and survival are worse than both England and London.

Cancers diagnosed through screening programmes or through an urgent GP referral are usually diagnosed earlier and have much better outcomes for patients.

This event will provide ALL staff with information about current work taking place in Lewisham and what we can all do to support the NHS Long Term ambition of 75% of cancers being diagnosed at an early stage by 2028!

Communication Modules

This session will provide an opportunity for non-clinical staff to engage in our newly developed AI communications modules. These interactive sessions provide valuable insights into effective patient and team communication. The modules encompass a personality assessment and practical strategies for managing challenging situations.

This session will run over Teams: the link will be provided via an Eventbrite email to all those registered with Eventbrite for the session.
