At Resources for Autism, we believe in a world where autistic people can live full, joyful lives with the same chances as anyone else. For over 27 years, we've been walking alongside autistic individuals and their families, offering everything from one-to-one support and creative group activities to therapy sessions, holiday play schemes, and sibling/parent groups. We’re proud of our open, inclusive culture – and the fact that many of us have stuck around for years speaks to just how strong and supportive our team really is.
We work from a place of radical acceptance. That means we see each person exactly as they are – and we adapt the environment around them to meet their needs. Our approach isn’t about “fixing” people, but about fixing systems so they truly understand and embrace neurodivergence.
We’re thrilled to be leading the new Lewisham Autism Hub – a two-year proof-of-concept project that we hope will become a permanent and life-changing service for the borough’s autistic community. The Hub is designed to be a safe, welcoming, neuro-affirming space where autistic people of all ages – and their loved ones – can get the support they need, when they need it.
Here’s what we offer:
The Hub is also a place where professionals can come together to learn, collaborate, and build services that really work for the community. At the heart of everything we do is our co-production panel – a group of autistic experts by experience who shape the service from the ground up.
