12.30pm - 1.30pm
At Resources for Autism, we believe in a world where autistic people can live full, joyful lives with the same chances as anyone else. For over 27 years, we've been walking alongside autistic individuals and their families, offering everything from one-to-one support and creative group activities to therapy sessions, holiday play schemes, and sibling/parent groups. We’re proud of our open, inclusive culture – and the fact that many of us have stuck around for years speaks to just how strong and supportive our team really is.
We work from a place of radical acceptance. That means we see each person exactly as they are – and we adapt the environment around them to meet their needs. Our approach isn’t about “fixing” people, but about fixing systems so they truly understand and embrace neurodivergence.
We’re thrilled to be leading the new Lewisham Autism Hub – a two-year proof-of-concept project that we hope will become a permanent and life-changing service for the borough’s autistic community. The Hub is designed to be a safe, welcoming, neuro-affirming space where autistic people of all ages – and their loved ones – can get the support they need, when they need it.
Here’s what we offer:
The Hub is also a place where professionals can come together to learn, collaborate, and build services that really work for the community. At the heart of everything we do is our co-production panel – a group of autistic experts by experience who shape the service from the ground up.

Lewisham CEPN Training Hub and SEL ICB, Lewisham invite you to attend Cancer Online training
One in two of us will be diagnosed as having cancer at some point in our lives. Cancer is the leading cause of death in Lewisham, ahead of both cardiac and respiratory disease. In Lewisham, the rates of early diagnosis of cancer and survival are worse than both England and London. Cancers diagnosed through screening programmes or through an urgent GP referral are usually diagnosed earlier and have much better outcomes for patients.
This event provided ALL staff with information about current work taking place in Lewisham and what we can all do to support the NHS Long Term ambition of 75% of cancers being diagnosed at an early stage by 2028!

These Awards are organised by Lewisham CEPN Training Hub with colleagues and leads from Lewisham ICB
These awards recognised the outstanding work in Lewisham by staff working in general practice and were an exciting opportunity to celebrate with colleagues, as well as showcase and award teams and individuals.
The evening included a buffet and entertainment. To ensure fairness, we allocated a number of tickets to each PCN/organisation - guests were asked to ensure they selected their ticket under the PCN/Organisation they worked for and to complete the booking form in full. We requested that tickets were only booked if the guest intended to attend and to cancel their booking if they were no longer able to make it so the ticket could be offered to others.
Unfortunately, due to limited funds, we were only able to invite staff working in general practice within Lewisham. As such, we were unable to extend invitations to partners, friends, or family members. We hoped this would not deter guests from booking a free ticket and joining us for an enjoyable evening with colleagues and work friends.
